WEll, I was the ginnie Pig for the Courtesy Nissan Ab-Flug replica front strut bar. When I ordered it on 6/3/02, they told me I was the first person to place the order for this bar.. Man, Im a sucker ain't I? The bar is Tig welded and is very light. The bar is HOLLOW, circular tube design. So, in otherwords, the bar seems flimsy. They should of made the tube solid for more strength of the bar. The end mounts are NICELY done, but could use more tig welding. THe welding on the center bar is not too good looking, but the entire strut bar is polished well. Courtesy did a good job in replicating the japan made Ab-Flug Strut Bar. The bar itself and the end mounts fit with NO rubbing problems against the hood.. But with my Z, I have SS fuel lines [Removed fuel rails] and removed the hood insulator, so it may be different for your Z. One thing im pissed about is.... The Allen bolts and lock nuts they provided to tighten the center bar to the end mounts... THEY ARE CRAP! Right now, they are STUCK loosely.. I cant tighten it or loosen it no matter how much force I use. They used some kind of crappy locktight nut and it got stuck on the bolt. So tomorrow im going to complain to courtesy nissan about this problem. Im going to use my good old rotozip to hack off the nut and use some high grade 9-10 bolt and nut [No Locktight nut]. You dont need the damn locktight nut. Well, on with the pictures. Here's the fast link to the pictures on my site. The camera I used is crappy, but you can see it all installed.
